Non-Ionic Surfactant These products are used to
lower the surface tension of water which allows less water to clean more.
In essence, surfactants make water wetter. Further, there are many types
of surfactant. Non-Ionic surfactants, such as is contained in the Soap
Dope, are incredibly gentle and biodegradable.
Kelp
Pellets Long known
for its conditioning properties, natural sea kelp is used in the product as
an emollient and conditioner.
Soap
Pellets-Power Perk
This ingredient is tallow soap powder. Tallow has been the base of traditional
soaps for hundreds of years.
Pumice
Again,
a common ingredient in hand cleaners. This is a powder that is finely ground
from the pumice stone, commonly found in volcanic areas of the world. The
pumice used in Soap Dope is an extremely high-quality grade and is quite fine
in texture so it does not feel as "rough" as other products on the
market. One major difference, however, is that other products on the market
use pumice as an abrasive to "scrub off" the soils on the skin.
The Soap Dope formula, on the other hand, uses the pumice to provide
the tallow in the formula a surface to stick to while cleaning. In effect,
the pumice, wrapped in the tallow, function as "little pods of cleaning
power."
