AT
THE MARINA
We have a houseboat on the Mississippi and my husband is a
very finicky "captain". Everything has to be clean all the time!
I use your soap on the bright work, the shower stall, the sinks, the head,
the panelling and the appliances. The boat is fiberglass and I use it
to clean the entire exterior to remove the film that just seems to accumulate
each season. I also use it on the fenders that hold the boat away from
the dock. They really take a beating and generally look awful after only
a short time. A small amount of the soap applied with a sponge cleans
them right up. For stubborn stains (and the Mississippi is noted for creating
them) I just let the soap set on the stained area for a bit before rinsing
it off. When we winterize the boat I clean everything with the soap and
have yet to come back in the spring o anything that had mildewed or smelled
musty. We also have a fishing boat and a runabout that we clean with your
soap because it takes out the fuel smells and fish residue and leaves
the boats without nasty odors. My marina neighbors are all converts to
"my soap". One of them recently repainted the bottom of his
steel cruiser and came out literally covered in anti-fouling paint. Since
that is one of the worst paints to remove from one's skin they were positively
delighted to discover that the soap not only took the paint off but left
their skin soft and unharmed. A boating friend recently had a spill of
diesel fuel in the hold of his trawler and was very pleased that the soap
cleaned up the residue and removed the smell from the hold. Another thing
is that this soap does not leave a nasty film in the water like so many
of the marina cleaners do and it is totally biodegradable.
INDUSTRIAL:
Samples were given to some
Airplane Mechanics in Germany who heard about Soap Dope's ability
to remove film and grime associated with jet engines.
MEDICAL
& LAB:
Used by doctors in the pathology
lab to get rid of the smell of formeldahyde.
AT
THE CHOCOLATE SHOPPE:
The chocolate that we use
in making the candies at our store has no preservatives or paraffin in
it and it is extremely sensitive to any and all odors and flavors. As
a result, we have to be very careful with the cleaning compounds we use
on our equipment and our hands and they have to be USDA approved. We use
this soap on everything the stainless steel sinks, the counters,
the floors, the walls, the appliances and the marble slab. We apply a
small amount on a damp sponge and then rinse well with water and everything
looks and smells clean. It is also the only hand soap that we use there.
